THE KEITH KOLLECTION | FINAL FIVE
To mark the 30th anniversary of Talk Is Cheap, Keith Richards’ debut solo album, his team partnered with Fender to craft a limited-edition box set (1,150 units) inspired by his iconic vintage Telecaster. Each piece took 37 people and two weeks to build — a true work of art.
To amplify the release, “The Keith Kollection” launched, placing the final five sets manufactured, as pieces of art, in rock ’n’ roll hotels around the world, including London’s Sanctum and West Hollywood’s Andaz — where Keith once famously tossed a TV off a balcony. A peace offering.
The “Final Five” boxes were unveiled on release day, generating global media coverage and cementing the campaign as both a fan event and a press magnet.
