The news of Mötley Crüe’s world tour, gave the perfect opportunity to embrace their reputation for controversy with a bold, disruptive campaign: Mötley Crüe Takeover.

Across bars, tattoo parlours, and record stores, across many cities, the band’s presence was unavoidable. Venues received branding packs with posters, signage, cut-outs, and even heat-activated urinal stickers revealing the Crüe logo. Promotional packs powered fan competitions, with merch and albums as prizes.

The result: more than 20 takeovers in 13 markets — from Mexico and Argentina to Milan, Madrid, Brazil, and a standout London street campaign — ensuring the band’s return was impossible to ignore.
